The daughter of John R. Wagaman and Martha Dykes, "Sue" and her family moved to Carroll County, Missouri when she was 16-years-old.

Sue married Samuel "Sam" Albro on 05 Apr 1863. The son of Laten and Susannah Albro, Sam was born in New York in November of 1830. In the years shortly preceding Sue and Sam's marriage, he was a teamster who lived with the family of Salem Albro. [Salem, a fellow teamster and native New Yorker, was most likely Sam's older brother.]

When Sue married Sam, he was a widower and father of 2 children from his first marriage to Louisa Fitzmorris. She had died of complications from the birth of a son, James Samuel Albro about 1860. The baby survived, but died in 1866 when he was about 6-years-old.

During the early part of their marriage, Sue and Sam lived in Carrollton with the family of Laten Albro for a short time. He was most likely Sam's older brother.

There were additional family ties between the Wagaman and Albro families as well. Sue's brother, James Jefferson Wagaman, was married to one of Sam's sisters, Margaret Albro. Sue's step-daughter, Laura Elizabeth Albro, later married into the Wagaman family, too.

Sue and Sam continued to live in Carrollton, and he worked as a butcher. They were the parents of 4 children. Eventually, a granddaughter, Mona Alene Frye, also lived with the Albro family.

Sue's husband, Sam, passed away in 1905.

During her later years, Sue took turns living with her daughters, Mary "Edna" Hanavan and Clara Eason, and their families. Sue died at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 9 days of heart disease at the home of her daughter, Edna.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. at Willis Brothers' Chapel on the afternoon of 03 Feb 1921.
