THE PARIS NEWS Thu., Mar. 4, 1982. ‘Elwyn C. Howard, 81, of Cherry Street Annex, formerly of 1243 S. Delaware Place, Tulsa, Ok, died at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at McCuistion Medical Center. Masonic graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, at Evergreen Cemetery with Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Howard had most recently lived in Paris for four years. He was born June 15, 1900, in Paris, a son of Oscar W. and Mattie Bell Howard. He attended Paris schools and married Miss Mildred Jeffus in Paris in 1924. She died in 1957. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. He was executive personnel manager for Sinclair Oil Co. of Tulsa for 40 years. He was a 50-year member of the Tulsa Masonic Lodge and was also a member of the Scottish Rite, and of the Optimist Club of Tulsa. Surviving are two sisters, Mary Howard Wakefield and Ruth Howard Moye, both of Paris; and a number of nieces and nephews.’
