"Harry C. Valentine, of Thurmont, died at 8:45 o'clock on Tuesday morning at the Frederick City Hospital after a lingering illness. His age was 63 years, 8 months and 2 days. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Albert Valentine. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clara E. Root, Philadelphia, and the following nieces: Mrs. Mary M. McKinney and Miss Margaret Root, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Minerva Root Latham, Baltimore. The body is now resting at the residence of ClarenceE. Creeger, West Main Street, Thurmont. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Creeger home. Rev. C. H. Corbett, St. John's Lutheran Church, Thurmont, will have charge. Burial will be in the United Brethren Cemetery, Thurmont. Wilhide and Creager, Thurmont, and C. G. Black, Baltimore, are the funeral directors."
