HARTSELLE — Funeral services for William E. Sparkman, 81, Hartselle 4, who died Friday in a Hartselle hospital, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Moss Chapel United Methodist Church, Rev. Edsel Stevenson officiating, with burial in adjoining cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs Mattie Lou Sparkman; Hartselle; three sons, Coy E. Sparkman, Carl J. Sparkman, Pervis A. Sparkman, all of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Sparkman, Clarence Sparkman, both of Hartselle; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Thompson, Mrs. Stella Jones, both of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The body will remain at the funeral home until an hour before services.
Mr. Sparkman was a member of Moss Chapel United Methodist Church
