She was born Nov. 8, 1924, to Arthur and Gurtia Huckabay Davis in Delaplaine.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Pollard, who died Nov. 13, 2000; two sons, Bobby Jean and David Wayne Pollard; two sisters, Geneva Tompkins and Wanda Fletcher; and one brother, Ralph Davis.
Mrs. Pollard is survived by two daughters, Wilma S. Pendegraft of Lake City and Glenda S. Brooks of Caraway; four sisters, Dorothy Rutledge of Jonesboro, Jessie Fletcher of Cabot, Vernell Miller of Hampton and Maxine Trusal of Pine Bluff; and one brother, Charles Davis of Hampton.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Nathan Hogan, Becky Timms, Terry Brooks, Mitchell Case and Bobbie Sue Hurst; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in New Hope Baptist Church, Caraway. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery.
