Arthur Davis, 73, of Lake City died Sunday at St. Bernard's hospital.

He was a farmer and lived in the Lake City area many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gurta Davis; two sons, Ralph Davis and Charles Davis, both of Lake City; seven daughters, Mrs. Richard Rutledge of Madison, Wisc., Mrs. Ray Fletcher of Lake City, Mrs. Doyle Fletcher of Jonesboro, Mrs. Willard Pollard of Black Oak, Mrs. Melvin Tompkins of Cahokia, Ill., Mrs. Sila Antran of Little Rock and Mrs. Lawrence Howard of Buzzard Bay, Mass.; three brothers, Eulis Davis of Lake City, Russell Davis of Bernie, Mo., and Rusaw Davis of Birmingham; two sisters, Mrs. Delia Tibbs of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Mrs. May Gonahue of Oakland, Calif.; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Church of Christ in Lake City with Vance Greenway, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Caraway Cemetery with Langford's Funeral Service in charge.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Wallace Sr., L. W. Hutchinson, Robert Franeway, C. D. Alexander, Bob Ridge and W. P. Fletcher.
