Funeral services for Dr. J.B.F. Wyant, Armstrong County's oldest physician, who died November 29, 1950, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m in the First Baptist Church of which he was a member. The services were in charge of the pastor, Rev. Wesley Dixon. Mrs. Henry Stumpf sang "O Love That Will not Let Me Go". Mrs. Walter Anderson was at the organ. Burial was made in the Montgomeryville Baptist Cemetery. Six trustees of the church-William Claypoole, Paul Moore, John S Barnes, Charles Leech, Rufus Frick, and Stanley Zeigler-were the casket bearers. Friday night members of Kittanning lodge F.& A.M. No. 214, and Kittanning Lodge Knights of Pythias 321 held ritualistic services in the Bauer Funeral Home. Saturday night, members of Kittanning Odd Fellows Lodge No. 340, held services in the funeral home.
