Mrs. Blanche S. Overstreet, 53, wife of Adrian Overstreet, of Norwood, died at the local hospital Sunday from a heart attack following influenza. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Miss Frances Overstreet, Norwood, and Mrs. (Janie) Donald Harman, Bedford, and one son, Pvt. Maurice Overstreet, U.S. Army, Pacific area. A daughter of Lynch A. (Leftwich) and Julia Abbott she was born in Bedford County.
Funeral services were held at Bethany Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with burial in the church cemetery.
