YARBER, ROETTA M. - age 92, of North Knoxville, died Saturday May 29, 2004 at University of Tennessee Hospital of a brain aneurysm. She was a member of the former Park Lane Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Fraternal of Eagles Lodge #2698.
Mrs. Yarber was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. & Sophia E. Tilley Renfro; husband of 56 years, Clyde M. Yarber (July 14, 1989); daughters, Shirley June McCroskey (June 24, 1993) and Elizabeth Juanita Shockley (December 17, 2002; brothers, Clarence, Herbert, Howard, Floyd and Boyd Renfro; and sister, Margaret Mitchell.
She is survived by daughters, Ruth Stailey and husband, Ronnie, Bea Beeler Jeffers and husband, Billie, Mildred Norman and husband, Bill; son-in-law, Robert C. McCroskey, Sr.; sister, Eva Lynn of Kingston; brothers, Paul and Robert Renfro of Kingston; grandchildren, Sherrie Blow Williams of Knoxville, Kathy Dukes of Knoxville, Michael W. Beeler of Bossier City, LA, Billy Norman of Knoxville, Robert C. McCroskey, Jr of Raleigh, NC., Terry, Mike and Mark McCroskey of Knoxville, Debbie Lett of Halls and Cindy Williams of Knoxville; 19 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Bonnie Day and Marsha Hancock.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with special pastor, Rev. Jimmy Stroud officiating. Interment will follow in New Gray Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
