Paul Clifton Renfro age 88 of Kingston passed away June 7, 2005 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a life-long resident of Roane County, born and raised S. O. R.

He was a veteran of WWII. He worked as a diesel mechanic in Midtown and Rockwood for years and also worked for TDOT for several years. He was a loving husband to his wife of 50 years and faithfully cared for her as she fought and lost her battle with Parkinson's disease. The last decade of his life was greatly enriched by the love and friendship of another lovely lady. Many will remember him as a person who loved people and who never met a stranger. His children will remember him as a father who was always there for them in every way and who never stopped being interested in his family's lives and well-being.

He was preceded in death by wife of 50 years Elizabeth "Pat" Renfro, parents R. J. and Sophia Tilley Renfro, brothers Clarence, Herbert, Howard, Floyd and Boyd Renfro, sisters Roetta Yarber and Margaret Mitchell and great granddaughter Amanda Marie Renfro.

He is survived by daughter and son in law John and Betty Narramore of Kingston; Son Charles Renfro of Tunnel Hill, GA, Sons and daughters in law Jimmie and Louise Renfro, Larry and Kim Renfro and Jerry and Vicki Renfro all of Kingston, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, Brother and sister in law Robert and Jacqueline Renfro of Kingston, Sister and brother in law Eva and Robert Lynn of Kingston and very special friend Jean Burnette of Kingston.

Funeral 11am Saturday June 11, 2005 at the Laurel Bluff Baptist Church. Burial in Rose Cemetery with Military Honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9pm Friday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
