Clide Beatrice (Bea) Yarber Beeler Jeffers, age 79, of Knoxville, TN., was born May 11, 1943, the youngest of five daughters to Clyde Martin Yarber, and Roetta M. Renfro Yarber.

Bea is preceded in death by her father, Clyde M. Yarber (July 14, 1989), mother, Roetta M. Yarber (May 29, 2004), sisters, Shirley June McCroskey (July 24, 1993) Elizabeth Juanita Shockley (December 17, 2002), and niece, Sherrie L. Williams (August 8, 2019).

She is survived by husband, Billie Jeffers of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Mildred Norman (late husband William) of Knoxville, TN and Ruth Stailey and husband Ronnie of Knoxville TN; son, Mike Beeler and wife Allison of Bossier City LA; daughter, Kathy Dukes of Knoxville TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Courtney Chapman, Alexandra Beeler, Logan Dukes, Ariel Beeler and Morgan Mynatt; four Great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was often asked how she got her name Clide. Having four daughters already, her parents were anticipating that the fifth child would be a son. However, they were blessed with a fifth daughter instead. Nonetheless, she was named after her father anyway, just spelled a little differently.

Bea enjoyed meeting new people every day. She was employed in the retail industry most of her life. However, at one time in the early sixties, she was a roller-skating Car Hop at the Krystal on Broadway. Later, in the mid-seventies, she was a Tupperware saleslady. Unique positions by today's standards.

Bea loved the Lord with all her heart. A prayer was never far from her lips for a beloved family member, or friend. Bea went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

The family would like to acknowledge, and thank the staff and nurses at the The Courtyards Senior Living on Inskip Road for their wonderful care, and friendship they provided to Billie and Bea the last several years.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm Friday, February 17, 2023 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. The funeral service will be 12:30 pm Saturday in the Berry Lynnhurst Chapel. Entombment will follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
