Service were Monday afternoon in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Terrell Bain officiating. Burial in the Gum Springs Cemetery.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late A. M. and Mamie Bates, Bennet. She was a member of the Smithland Community Church.
Survivors in additon to her husband include one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Jean Sims of Fayetteville; two sons, Billy Campbell of Scottsboro, Ala. and Knox Campbell Jr. of Knob Noster, Mo.; four sisters, Virginia Demore of Fayetteville, Mrs. Vertie Mae Campbell and Mrs. Delma Brewer, both of Elora, Tn. and Mrs. Augustine Murphry of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.l 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children.
