Rev. Eugene McCowan And Rev. Delmer McCowan Will Officiate. Interment Will Follow In The Hillcrest Cemetery In Redkey, Indiana. Mr. McCowan Was Born On August 26, 1945, In Overton County, Tennessee, To The Late Elvin And Elsie Bilbrey McCowan. Mr. McCowan Passed Away On Thursday, May 6, 2010, At His Home. Mr. McCowan Attended Sand Springs Baptist Church, And Was A First Class Machine Repairman In Dunkirk, Indiana, For 42 Years. He Is Survived By His Wife, Paula Truax McCowan Of Monterey, TN; 2 Daughters, Shevelle Miller Of Monterey, TN, Rachael McCowan Of Celina, OH; 1 Son, Donald C. McCowan, Jr. Of Redkey, IN; Adopted Children, Yvonne Elzey Of Andrews, IN, And Alvin Teegarden Of Anderson, IN; 18 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Barbara Mink Of Redkey, IN And 2 Brothers, Daniel McCowan Of Redkey, IN, And Norman "Poncho" McCowan Of Redkey, IN. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By An Adopted Son, Albert Teegarden; Granddaughter, Heather Teegarden; 2 Sisters, Earlene Miller And ImaJean Simons; And 1 Bother, Doyle McCowan.
