Son of Abraham Dolloff and Rachel Locke.

Died of Pneumonia with LaGrippe Complications.

Married 22 Feb 1838 Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire to Lydia Nelson.

To their union was born 8 children:
Almira Smith Dolloff, Otis Ayer Dolloff, Emma Hannah Dolloff, Lynthia Nelson Dolloff, Harlan Howard Dolloff, Viola Leone Dolloff, Amna Maria Dolloff, and Alma Kate Dolloff.

Abram had been a farmer, drover, and dealer in meats. He commenced at 17 years of age to buy and sell cattle, and continued this for many years. Abram bought largely in Vermont, New Hampshire and Canada, and drove his herds to market. In 1865, the tariff being unfavorable for importing live stock, he shipped dressed beef to the states. In 1862, he opened the first meat market in Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire, and later had markets also in Franklin, Merrimack, New Hampshire and Tilton, Belknap, New Hampshire. He continued in the meat business in Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire till Jun 1899, his burliness career covering a period of 64 years. He had been a member of the Methodist Church in Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire for 75 years, and was a class leader for 25 years, and was a member of the official board of that Church, having filled this position for nearly 62 years.
