Alice Jane Wade McKellips, 70, of Clever, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at her home.
She was born June 4, 1939, in Atlanta, Illinois, daughter of Samuel Warren and Mildred Elizabeth (Bennett) Robbins.
She was united in marriage to Vernon McKellips December 24, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobvbie Wade; two sons, Mark and Roger Wade; and siblings, Jessie Hazelwood, Grace Mulvaney, Nellie Theis, Margaret Daugherty, Ruby Hardy, Lyle Robbins, and Betsy Greening.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon; two daughters, Karen Taylor and husband, Jim, of East Alton, and Darlene Wade of Ash Grove, Missouri; five grandchildren, Nick Blair, Mallory Sidarous and husband, Matthew, of Edwardsville, Vanessa Paradee and husband, Steven, of Maryville, and Sam and Derek Davis of Ash Grove, Missouri.
Visitation was held Friday, April 30, at Meadors Funeral Home, Clever. Services took place Saturday, May 1, at Clever United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are to be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, at Rose Lawn Cemetery Chapel in Bethalto.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Florissant, Missouri.
