LINCOLN, IL - Anna J. Charron, 85, of Lincoln, passed away at 8:05 p.m., May 7, 2016, at Symphony of Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln.
Anna was born March 29, 1931, in Minier, Ill., the daughter of Warren and Mildred (Bennett) Robbins. She married Vernon Charron on May 7, 1947, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2014.
Anna is survived by her children: Roy (Chie) Charron of Hawaii, Kenneth (Ally) Charron of Hayward, Calif., Linda (Larry) Norman of Niles Mich., Gloria (Bill) Parker of Lincoln, Sandra Allen of Lincoln, Carolyn (George) Peden of Bloomington, Gayla Charron of Lincoln, and Elizabeth (Kevin) Johnson of Pekin; her brother, David; her sisters: Neva, Berta, Mary, Patsy, Frances, and Eldora; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Gregory; one grandson, Shane Young; sisters: Grace, Ruby, Eva, Betsy, and Alice; and brothers, Lyle and Robert.
A memorial service for Anna will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Life Pointe Church of God in Lincoln, with Pastor Keith Moore officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016, also at the church.
Burial will be held on a later date at Irish Grove Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Anna's name to: Life Pointe Church of God.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
