Morris was taken from his father's ranch in Alva WY at the age of 18 and placed in the Wyoming Insane Asylum in Evanston WY. He had the mentality of a 5 year old and the folks who lived close to the ranch were afraid for the safety of their children, and called for his commitment. He was taken from the ranch and 3 weeks later returned in a coffin. He was a large man, and it was thought in an attempt to manage him they had over sedated him causing his death. My grandfather never got over it.
