Mrs. Mattie A. Young

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie A. Young, 85, wife of the late W. E. Young, will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Johnson-Charlton Funeral Home. H. M. Phillips will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Young died at 7:30 o'clock last night at her home, 2221 Eleventh Avenue South. She had been in failing health for the past two years.

Born in Davidson County, Mrs. Young had lived here all of her life. Her husband, foreman for the Norvell and Wallace Lumber Company, died shortly after their marriage 65 years ago.

Mrs. Young was a member of the Waverly-Belmont Church of Christ.

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. M. B. Clements, Mrs. Edna Seaborn, Miss Daisy Peal, Mrs. F. H. Eubank and Mrs. W. B. Phillips, and two brothers, W. M. and T. F. Peal, all of Nashville.
