Obituary of Oscar Lee Peal

PEAL - Tuesday evening at 5:30 o'clock, February 13, 1923 at his home eleven miles on Gallatin Road (Curtis Station), Oscar L. Peal, in the 60th year of his age. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Weitzel Peal, and the following children; Mrs. R. L. Curtis, Mrs. H. T. Richardson, Mrs. C. B. Evans, Misses Gertrude and Bessie Mai Peal, A. J. and Weitzel Peal; mother, Mrs. Nancy Peal; sisters, Mrs. Mattie A. Young, Mrs. Mose Clements, Mrs. Edna Seaborn, Mrs. F. H. Eubanks, Mrs. Ben Phillips and Miss Daisy Peal; brothers, William Peal, all of this city and Talbot Peal of Chattanooga, Tenn. Funeral from the Reid Avenue Church of Christ this (Thursday) afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by the Elders Silas W. Moody, John W. Beasley and J. C. Lawson. The following will serve as pallbearers: J. J. Jennings, Hickman Curtis, Noah Fox, Lee DeFore, Thomas Dutlinger, Charles Hix, Ike Finley and Ollie Dillingham. Interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Roesch-Johnson-Charlton Funeral Directors.
