Mrs. Sola Daniel, 81, of Paintsville, died May 15 after an illness of several months. A lifelong resident of Paintsville,
Mrs. Daniel was the daughter of Allen Thomas and Rhuhemia VanHoose Sublett.
She was born in March 1893. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ransom Daniel; two sons, Charles Daniel of Sarasota,FL and James Daniel of Frankfort; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Surviving brothers and sisters include Mrs.Mae Ward and Mrs.Linchie Williams of Paintsville, Monroe Sublett of Akron, OH and Frank Sublett of Star City,AR.

Services were held Friday May 17, at the Southside Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev.Claude Preston and Rev. Richard Williams officiating.Burial was in the Sublett Cemetery at Paintsville.
The Paintsville funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
