I remember Aunt Marinda. Everyone pronounced her name "Marindy", with an "ee" sound at the end. She was a preacher in the Church of God of Prophecy. She died when I was small (I attended her funeral), but I remember her as being a typical Middleton: Sharp tongued and very opinionated; but she was good to me. I never remember the slightest fear of her.
