Kenneth P. Garey, 61, of 875 Crescent Drive, Urbana died Monday, May 26 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. An Army veteran of World War II, he was former manager of the City Loan.
He was born May 23,1925 in Milford Center to Pearl and Annis (Ferryman) Garey. He is survived by his wife Mary Leibold Garey, a daughter Mrs. Steven (Sandra) Lauffing, Urbana, two grandchildren, four sisters, Mabel Addis, Mrs. Milton (Jessie) Schalip, Nettie Dodge, all of Marysville, and Lula Newton, California.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, Urbana with interment in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m..
