Harry Hipple Sr.
Harry Hipple Sr., who has been a resident of town during the past fifty years, died at the home of his son James on Sunday morning, aged nearly 74 years. He was a carpenter by trade, and worked for a number of years at boat building in the once famous yards of the McCreary Brothers. He is survived by two aged sisters, Mrs. Sarah Stipe, of town, and Mrs. Mary Maginnis, Lancaster, and the following children: Mrs. Andrew Rehrer, James K. P., Henry Jr., Perry and John Hipple, of town, and Mrs. Nathaniel Baker, of Lancaster. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, with interment in the Middletown cemetery, Rev. F. W. Staley officiating.
