Elizabeth C. Sabel, 91, of Lomira passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Woodlands Senior Park in Fond du Lac.
Elizabeth was born the daughter of Michael and Mary (Schraufnagel) Feucht on Sept. 28, 1919 in LeRoy. She was married to Norman W. Sabel on May 6, 1941 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy.
Elizabeth was employed at St. Agnes Hospital and retired from Maysteel Co. in 1981.
Elizabeth was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy and was a member of St. Andrew Christian Mothers Society. Elizabeth was a beloved wife and mother.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Joseph (Betty) Sabel of Quinney, Michael (Mardell) Sabel of LeRoy, Dennis (Joann) Sabel of Fond du Lac, Norman G. (Mary) Sabel of Mayville, Anna (Henry) Way of Kewaskum, Duane (Jan) Sabel of Mayville, Gerard (Linda) Sabel of LeRoy, Roseann (Art) Bredeson of LeRoy; brothers Henry Feucht of Milwaukee, Albert (Alieta) Feucht of West Bend; sister Marie Sabel of Fond du Lac; brothers-inlaw Ervin Sabel of Fond du Lac, Ralph (Alice) Sabel of Fond du Lac; sisterin-law Vi. Sabel of St. Cloud; 22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren; special family friend Vi Dehring of Brownsville nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2009, brothers and sisters, and grandson Dale Sabel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 6 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy, with Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy. Inurnment will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery, LeRoy.
