Moses and Kitora had 11 children - in order chronologically Fred, Mayme (m. Hartzel), Infant son, Dora Esther (m. Thompson), Thoms J., Emmett Oliver, John Hugh, Homer Richard, Ella Frances Maud (m. Lewin), Frieda Goldine (m. Herweg), and Evelyn Roberta. Only infant son is missing from this family photo. Kitora and ten of the children survived him.
Moses contracted respiratory problems while living in Missouri. He and Kitora moved to San Antonio because his health was declining; they were there only two months before he died as the result of a hemorrhage of the lungs and tuberculosis. His occupation was shown as foreman of a railway section. He was survived by his wife, Kitora, who moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa to be with some of her children.
