Alma Fry White, 71, long time resident of rural route one, Centerville, passed away very suddenly at her home Sunday, Aug 13, at 6:30 a.m. She had beenin ill health several years. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Born Feb. 1, 1896, north of Exline, she was the daughter of Alfred and Ida McCoy Fry. At the age of 12 she was converted under the minstry of Jesse Monkman at the Exline Methodist church.
On Dec. 20, 1916, she was united in marriage with Elzie (Jack) White at her family home, who survives her passing. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Centerville. Her parents; two brothers, Glenn and clell; and a grandson preceded her in death.
Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Mrs. Eulan King and Mrs. Ardith Morre; one son, Jesse White, all of rural route one, Centerville; six grandcildren; a sister, Mrs. Grace Bauman of near Exline.
She was a devoted wife and mother, always remembering her family in prayer.
Internment was in Oakland cemetery on Aug 16, 1967. Services were conducted by Rev. Thurman Andrews of Lancaster, Mo.
