Centerville - Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Magnolia Park Cemetery for James B. Leverett Sr., 75, of 953 Carl Vinson Parkway, who died Friday in a local hospital. The Rev. Mobley Cross will officiate,

A native of Houston County, Mr. Leverett was a retired contractor and a Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Paul Leverette of Centerville; three daughters, Gertrude Carswell of Eatonton, Patti Couillard of Warner Robins, and Virginia Langson (sic) of Centerville; three sisters, Sallie V. Self of Warner Robins, Mary Wilkes of Lizella and Hattie Ammons of
Byron; three half-sisters, Dorothy Mills of Centerville, and Ethel Leverette and Wylene Hester of Macon; three half-brothers, Dewey Leverette and Bobby Leverette of Warner Robins and Benny Leverette of Byron; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
