FISHERSVILLE - Mary A. Lotts, 94, of Route 1, Box 95, died Sunday (Oct. 7, 2001) at Living Waters Retirement Community.

She was born Feb. 17, 1907, at Augusta County, a daughter of Henry O. and Nora Belle Hawpe Arehart.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Thomas J. Lotts a son, Marion Rankin two sisters, Aimee Coffman and Ophelia Miller and seven brothers, Oscar, Christian, Houston, Raymond, Carry, Curtis and Allen Arehart.

Surviving are two sons, Richard H. Lotts of Waynesboro and Thomas E. Lotts of Bellflower, Calif. a sister, Catherine Croft of Staunton four grandchildren, Richard M. Lotts, Vickie Ann Sinclair, Marvella Rae and Tina Staton eight great-grandchildren many nieces and nephews and special friends, Betty Gleason and Irene Woods.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Old Providence Church Cemetery, Spottswood, with the Revs. Max Bolin and Bill Everhart presiding.

Pallbearers will be Ron Blough, Tommy Gleason and Carl and Jerry Kerby.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends after the service and at other times at the home of Dick Lotts, 159 Kingsbury Drive, Waynesboro.

Memorials may be made to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew, P. O. Box 1427, Waynesboro, Va. 22980 or to Hospice of the Shenandoah, P. O. Box 215, Fishersville, Va. 22939.
