Mrs. Bernice May Waltenbaugh, 48, wife of Homer Waltenbaugh of South Bend Township, died unexpectedly yesterday morning (Feb. 11, 1973) in her home.

She was born in Hyde Park on Feb. 26, 1924, to Roy E. and Edna Fetterman Berry.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Clyde R.., RD 2. Vandergrift; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Ann Thomas, Falls Church, Va.; her mother, Mrs. Edna Berry, Apollo.

Six brothers: Edward H. Berry, Shelocta; Paul E. Berry, in Nebraska; Frank C. Berry, Kittanning; Frederick W. Berry, Leechburg; Donald H. Berry, Butler; and Roy E. Berry Jr., Apollo; three sisters: Mrs. Marcella F. Neiswonger, Cleveland; Mrs. Alberta Fennel, RD 3, Ford City, and Mrs. Kathleen Brown, Apollo, and two grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Harold B. Heckman Funeral Home, 274 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until a service at 1 p.m. tomorrow, with the Rev. Marion E. Keller, pastor of Pentecostal Holiness Church, Truxall, Bell Township, in charge. Burial will follow in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Bethel Township.
