Leslie Gillette Dies In Accident
Was Son-In-Law Of Danville Woman

Leslie Gillette, civil & mining engineer, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ed Allen of Danville, was killed in an automobile accident Wednesday afternoon, according to a telegram received here Thursday from Sells, Arizona, Mr. Gillette's home.

Mr. Gillette's family formerly lived in Danville where they have a host of friends. It is understood that the family made their home here while Mr. Gillette was engaged in an engineering position in South America.

t the time bf his death he was engaged in engineering work on the Indian reservations in Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leila Owsley Gillette; a daughter, Laura Owsley Gillette; and two sons, Leslie Gillette, Jr., who is taking a doctor's degree at Purdue University, and Jack Gillette.
