Graveside services for Ethel Cooper Duncan, 92, of Tyler will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bascom Cemetery under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, Tyler, with the Rev. Gary Oglesby officiating.

Ethel died on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Azalea Place in Tyler.

Ethel, the daughter of the late Leonard O. Cooper and Elsie Moshier Cooper, was born in Tyler on Sep. 21, 1917. She was a Methodist and worked for R.L. Davis Co. as a seamstress.

Ethel was preceded in death by husbands, Perry Dark and Joe Duncan; sisters, Ruby Cooper and Maurene Tyner; brother, Raymond Cooper; daughters, Glenda Smith and Patricia Carpenter; as well as two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by son, Charles Dark and wife Karen of Flint; nine grandchildren, Teresa, Debbie, Ulanda, Leslie, Robby, Melissa, Shelly, April and Sherry; as well as 22 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive family and friends at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, Tyler, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
