Etta McGilvray, age 81 years died at North Avenue Towers after a short illness. She was a retired bookkeeper and attended First Church of Christ, Scientist. Cutler Funeral Home is in charge.
She is survived by sons E. C. "Bert" McGilvray III of San Diego and Bruce A. McGilvray of Los Angeles; daughters, Marietta C. Shaw and Lily M. Hedrick both of Council Bluffs; sisters Elfreda Hansen of Council Bluffs and Mary Lou Ritchhart of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
