Howard had several different occupations over the years: a field wireman for AUS, a tire salesman, a handyman and most recently operated a successful lawn care business. He was seen on his tractor mowing as many as 50 lawns in a year.
Howard was a quiet man who loved his country, God, his church and his family. He faithfully attended Pondera Valley Lutheran Church, having been a member there for several years. At the time of his death he lived with his brother, Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maggie Kaspersma, his sisters Dora and Wilhelmina and his brothers John and Peter. He is survived by his brother Leonard.
