My great-great-grandmonther, she was one of 13 children and a twin; traveled by covered wagon from Vermont to Illinois to Iowa in her migration from the northeast to the midwest. Married her next door Illinois neighbor, William Farr, in 1853. She had four sons, one of which was my greatgrandfather. She died short of her 101st birthday after tripping over a rug and breaking her hip.
