Mrs. Reglein, life long resident, dies at age 73
Funeral services for Mrs. August (Lillian) Reglein, 73, who died Sept. 7, were conducted Monday afternoon at the First Methodist church.
Death came to Mrs. Reglein while she was visiting her son, Charles and his family in Wall Lake, Ia. She was a lifelong resident of this area, having been born in Chesterton, Feb. 6, 1887, the daughter of William and Etta Harbrecht.
On June 2, 1904 in Valparaiso, she was married to August Reglein who preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to Charles is a daughter, Mrs. Knute (Evelyn) Oness, Chesterton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, William, Chesterton; sister, Mrs. Clara Crowe, Southgaate, Calif.; and a half-brother, Lawrence Dillinger, Chesterton.
The Rev. Clair D. Siple officiated at the funeral. Burial was in Chesterton cometery, and the White Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Marvin Brooks, Arthur Nickel, Boy Brooks, Everette Witte, Martin Ericson, and Robert Walstra.
