HANCOCK COUNTY WOMAN CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Addie Mae Bishop, wife of Mark Bishop, Yates Rd., died at 3:20 a.m. yesterday in Findlay hospital, following an illness of six months. She was 65.

A daughter of Osborne S. and Virginia Catherine (Elder) Bell, she was born on the Bell homestead in Delaware township July 7, 1882. Her parents are deceased. Her step-mother, Mrs. Blanche Bell, resides in Mt. Blanchard.

She was married to Mr. Bishop Sept 15, 1904. Mrs. Bishop lived within Hancock county her entire life.

Beside her husband and step-mother, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gerald Hartman, Mrs. Dwight Treier; four sons, Harold, Russell, Paul and Richard; two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Dirr, Toledo; and Mrs. David Bishop, Mt. Blanchard; and 20 grandchildren. Five brothers died in infancy.

Mrs. Bishop belonged to the Methodist church for 55 years. In her youth, she was a member of the Mt. Blanchard church, later joining the Center Chapel church. She belonged to the Ladies Aid society of the Center Chapel church.

Funeral services were held in the Coldren funeral home. Rev. Neil H. Peterson, Cincinnati, former pastor of the Central Chapel church, officiated. He was assisted by Rev. W.E. Ballinger, Arlington.
