Funeral services for Dale Gilliland Jr. of Minco will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Minco First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Denny officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
Mr. Gilliland died April 1 at Grace Living Center in Chickasha. He was born June 23, 1913, in Minco. He was raised in Minco and graduated from Minco High School in 1932. He farmed east of Minco until the age of 90. He was a member of First Baptist Church, serving as a deacon for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of the home; sons, Robert Gilliland of Medford and Dale F. Gilliland of Minco; a daughter, Peggy Linn of Okanogan, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Note: Dale married Evelyn Mae Barnes on June 18, 1937.
