Carroll County Times, Apr, 1915: C.E. MYERLY - Mr. Carroll Edward Myerly, son of Mr. David Myerly, of Pleasant Valley, this county died Monday, 5th inst., aged 25 years, 6 months and 9 days. Besides his father he is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Truman Babylon, Mrs. Harry Null, Mrs. Clarence Wantz, Miss Maggie Myerly, Charles Myerly and Roy Myerly. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. W. F. Hersh, was held yesterday morning at Krider's Lutheran Church and the interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. The members of the P.O.S. of A. of Pleasant Valley attended the funeral of their deceased brother in a body and conducted the service of the order at the grave. Six brothers of the order acted as pallbearers. They were: Messrs. William A. Myers, Harry D. Wantz, John Kemper, Leonard Yingling, Paul Myers and John C. Myers. Messrs. Harvey Bankard and Son were funeral directors.
