David E. Myerly died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Wantz, Tyrone, yesterday morning. Mr. Myerly awoke at an early hour as usual, had had his breakfast and was sitting in a chair, when found by his daughgter. He was aged 79 years, seven months and 10 days. He was the son of Elias and Mary Myerly. He is survived by one son and four daughters; Charles Myerly, Pleasant Valley; Miss Maggie Myerly, Hanover; Mrs. Truman Babylon, Frizzellburg; Mrs. Harry Null and Mrs. Clarence Wantz, Tyrone; one brother, Fred Myerly, Baltimore, Miss Mary Myerly, Manchester. A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, meeting at the home at 1 o'clock, with further services in St. Benjamn's (Krider's) Lutheran church, the pastor, the Rev. R. S. Patterson will have charge of the service. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Harvey Bankard and Son, funeral directors.
