Nov. 20, 1925 was in critical condition at the home of his Uncle, Otto Lykins, at Nashville, Mi. from drinking poison liquor, lost the sight of his left eye.
July 6, 1926, narrowly escape from being electrocuted during the wind & electrical storm. electric wire was blown down against a clothes line, charging the wire, Archie came in contact with this wire. The thumb, index and middle fingers were burned to a crisp and the right arm was burned nearlly to the elbow.
Due to these narrow escapes, he was handy-capped but lived to the age of 70
