Howe, Ind.; Alexander (Dan) Lykins, 75 died nov. 13, 1990, at the Byran Health Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born Dec. 07, 1913, in Portland, a son of Arch and Pearl (LUDY) lykins.

He was first married to Ada Mae Huey. She died in 1975. on July 15, 1977, he married Elevyn Seaman, in Howe. She died Nov. 23,1989.

He was a Howe resident since 1977, coming from Portland. He was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Portland American Legion Post and the Lima Prebyterian Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Pratt, Winchester; one step son William Seaman, Howe, four grandchildren; one great grand child; three step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Osborn, Munice, and Sarah Schafter, Bluffton; five brothers, Vilas (Ford) Lykins, Geneva; Archie Lykins, Adrian,Mich., James Lykins, Bluffton, Fred Lykins, Winchester, and Robert Lykins, Portland.

Graveside services are at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Green Park Cemetery, Portland, with the Rev. David J. Crowley officating. Arrangements were handled by the Fruip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Associate.
