OBITUARY FROM DELAWARE, NY NEWSPAPER

Sudden Death at Bloomville.

Mrs. Merton Gregory, wife of the well known Bloomville liveryman and proprietor with the Lambrects of the Bloomville-Delhi auto stage line, died at her home in Bloomville Wednesday about 1:30 p.m. of heart disease. She was not taken seriously ill until Friday when a trained nurse was sent for. She continued to fail until death came to her relief.

Mrs. Gregory was Cora Strickland, a daughter of the late Joshua Strickland of Meridale. She was about forty years of age, and is survived by her mother, two brothers, Tracy and Fred, who compose the mercantile firm of Strickland Brothers of Meridale, her husband and one daughter, aged twelve years. She was a woman of fine character and had many friends. Her funeral will be held from her late home to-morrow, Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., and 2 o'clock from the church.
