After her husband died in 1907, Mrs. Gray remained in the Windsor community for several years, for a time doing bookkeeping for the livery business and sharing a household with her widowed sister Emma DeWees and their mother (1910).
By 1920 Mrs. India Gray, her mother, and her sister Emma's family had relocated near her son in Adams County, Illinois.
