LYDIA (HETTINGER) LACKMANN (1891-1980)
LACKMAN----Lydia Lackman, 89, 432 Park Street, died Friday evening at Eventide, [CO]. She was born Aug 23, 1891 in Russia. She married Henry Lackman Sr., Dec 27, 1910 at Windsor Colo. The couple came to Sheridan in 1936 from Scottsbluff, Neb.
Mrs. Lackman was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, who died July 25, 1966. and by a son Rueben Lackman who died Jan. 29, 1976.
Survivors include three sons. Henry Lackman Jr. and Alex Lackman, Sheridan, and Edward Lackman, Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Victor (Helen) Kreger and Mrs. Alfred (Elise) Destefano, Sheridan; a sister, Eva Strecker, Bazine, Kan.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Private services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Champion Funeral Home with the Rev. Bernard Staake officiating. Interment in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call at Champion's today. Memorial may benefit the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
