A large circle of acquaintances will be pained by the announcement now made of the sudden death yesterday noon of Mrs. Nathaniel P. Langford, formerly Miss Emma Wheaton, sister of Dr. Charles Wheaton, and daughter of "Father" Wheaton, whose death occurred some two months since. Mrs. Langford was delivered of a child some six weeks ago, the child living but three days, and from which she never fully rallied, though yesterday morning she was feeling much better, and strong hopes were entertained of her recovery, her demise, as it occurred, being entirely unexpected. She was one of seventeen children, thirteen of whom survive her, eleven being residents of Minnesota. The funeral will be from the family residence, corner of Sherman and Exchange streets, Saturday, the hour for which will be announced hereafter.
