Minnie Barger Dies Thursday

Mrs. Minnie Magdalene Barger, who would have ben 51 years of age June 10, died at the St. Joseph Hospital at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. She had been in failing health for the past three years and critically ill during the past six weeks.

She had been in the hospital at various times and the last time for six weeks.

Minnie Magdalene Conn was born in Exline, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Conn, both of whom are deceased. In addition to her father and mother, Mrs. Barger was preceded in death by two brothers.

In 1929 she united in marriage with Richard Barger and had made her home in Centerville since that time. In death she leaves her husband and two sons, Dale, who is in the Navy, and Don, at home.

Dale was near Borneo at sea when his mother's condition made it imperative for him to be flown back to the U. S. He is here at the present time.

There are two surviving sisters and they are Madge McMahon, of Centerville, and Lenora Neilsen, of Applegate, Ore. Six brothers also survive and are: Kenneth, of Centerville; Raymond, of Jerome; Harold, of Centerville; Jacob, of Centerville; Pete, of Rathbun; and Richard, of Minnesota.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
