Pioneer Merchant, H.F. Craddock Dies in Austin.
Henry Frank Craddock aged 90, died in Austin, Friday, May 14, at 11:45 p.m.
Remains were brought overland to Crockett and funeral services were held May 17. at 10:30 a.m. In the Tenney Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Warren R. Hall
officiating, assisted by Rev. A.S. Lee, minister of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Craddock was born in Crockett December 12, 1857 and was reared here. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and served as a deacon over a long period of time. He was engaged in the mercantile business in Crockett and Kennard
for many years with his brother T.D. Craddock, Sr., as his business partner.

His first marriage was to Augusta Daniel at I.W. Smith's residence in Crockett, Texas on 27 Dec 1887 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
She was the mother of his four sons and one daughter.

A second marriage was to Mary E. Johnson, of Commerce. For the past 18 years he lived in Commerce and Austin but was in Crockett frequently for business interests.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Craddock of Austin; one daughter Emma Craddock of Mobile, Alabama; four sons, H.F. Craddock and S.W. Craddock both of Crockett. Dan P. Craddock of Austin, and Ike E. Craddock of Pensacola, Fla; two sisters, Mrs. J. S. Wootters and Miss Minnie Craddock of Crockett; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bearers were T.D. Craddock, Jr., Smith Wootters, John King. W.H. Denny, Albert Daniel, Neal Clements, Steve Denny and Dr. John Wootters.

Attending the service from out of town were Mrs. Roger Self of Austin, Dr. Charles Craddock and Ernest Craddock of Burnet. Mrs. Hendon Thomason and Miss Mary Mable Thomason of Huntsville, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Driskell, Jr. and sons Bob and Bill of Austin. Mrs. Lyman Knox of Austonio and Dr. and Mrs. John Wootters and son John Henry of Houston.
