George Joseph Touchette died at his home in Norwich, CT on April 17, 1990 after a brief illness. He was born on September 28, 1936 in Claremont; the son of Donald and Elizabeth (Zienkiewicz) Touchette.
He graduated in 1954 from Stevens High School and in 1956 from the New Hampshire Technical Institute. He was a designer engineer with General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in New London and was president of his own consulting firm that provided drafting and design services.
He married Nancy Ellis on February 1, 1969 in Groton, CT.
Survivors include his wife of Norwich; three children Mark Touchette of Norwich, Michael Touchette and Dawn Touchette both of Placerville, CA; and his mother of Claremont.
Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
