Elizabeth Touchette died at Shipley Manor Healthcare Facility in Wilmington, DE on January 31, 1997 following a brief illness. She was born on November 2, 1912 in Vilna, Poland; the daughter of Joseph and Adela (Belewicz) Zienkiewicz.

She was a long time resident of Claremont, NH and moved to Wilmington in January to be closer to her sister. She graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont, NH. She had been employed at Houghton-Simonds for many years. She was a communicant of St Joseph Church, a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, and Stevens High School Alumni Association.

She married Donald Touchette on October 26, 1935 in Claremont who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by son George Touchette and brother John Zienkiewicz (aka Zync).

Survivors include a sister Sophie Covell of Wilmington, DE.

Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
