AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Paul Agganis age, 85, entered into rest on Friday February 24, 2006 at University Hospital. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Vasile Bitere officiating. Interment followed in Westover Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife, Bess Agganis of Augusta, GA; two sons, George Paul Agganis of Lynn, MA, Harry Agganis and his wife, Dee of Lynn, MA; two daughters, Ellen Agganis Matzouranis and her husband, Paul of N. Andover, MA, Debi Agganis Ballas and her husband, Chuck of Martinez, GA. He is also survived by his brother, Philip Agganis of Hamilton, MA; 10 grandchildren: Christopher, Koren, Paul, Nicholas, Mary, Nikole, Jimmy, Penelope, Bebe, and Claudia and three great grandchildren, Kalli, Matthew, and Andrew. Mr. Agganis served in the U.S. Army for eight years and was a veteran of WW II. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Mr.Agganis was a retired hair stylist and owner of several beauty salons, with 40 years of service, working in California, Massachusetts, and Florida.
